Terms and Conditions – Reservation and Cancellation

Reservation:

Requests for reservations can be made on our website casacometa.com.mx or by email at or
Reservation requests cannot be made by telephone.
You will then receive an email confirming receipt of your request.

Reservation requests are accepted according to our availability and the price applied corresponds to that in force at the time of the reservation.
A confirmation email will be sent to you within 24 hours (usually within hours).
If the Suite you want is not/no longer available for your dates, if possible, we will offer you another room.

A minimum of 2 nights is required.
For the period of Christmas and New Year’s Day the minimum required is 7 nights.

Deposit:

To secure and confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount of your reservation.
We do not accept credit cards for deposits.

You can make your deposit:
-by bank transfer, we will send you our bank details
-by Paypal, 6% commission to be added, to the amount of the 50% deposit.

Prices are subject to change without notice, however if the reservation is confirmed by a deposit the price is final.

Changing a reservation:

If the customer wishes to modify a confirmed reservation, we will do everything we can to effect the change, but without guarantee.

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund for cancellations made 14 days prior to arrival date.
50% refund for cancellations made 7 days before arrival.
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.
During the stay, refund requests are not accepted for any reason. Ex: (medical reasons, strikes, accident, etc.)

Casa Cometa will suggest that you use your deposit for another reservation within its establishment if possible, or will reimburse you by bank transfer.

Arrival and departure times:


Our rooms are available from 3 p.m.
If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to enjoy our common areas (pool, bathroom, sofa…) while waiting for your room to be ready.
In the case of a late arrival (after 6 p.m.), the customer must notify us by email or text message.

Departure time: 12:00 p.m.

Others:

Following bad experiences, dogs are prohibited, animals in general are prohibited
We offer an additional breakfast service, which you can request from our staff, each morning, in the kitchen (see our breakfasts)

Private car park with a limited number of spaces.
It is also possible to leave your vehicle in the private road, outside the villa.

Responsibilities:

Casa Cometa is not responsible for valuables (jewellery, money) or other, if these have not been deposited in the safe, included in each room.
Casa Cometa is not responsible for damage to valuables caused by an event such as: fire, explosion, hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquake.

Regulations:

  • The rooms are non-smoking, however smoking is permitted in outdoor areas;
  • For safety reasons (swimming pool) children under 12 are not accepted;
  • It is forbidden to bring into the establishment, dangerous articles, such as controlled substances, weapons, explosives, cylinders containing compressed air or combustible substances;
  • It is forbidden to damage or manipulate the decorative elements;
  • It is forbidden to make noise;
  • It is forbidden to bring people from outside;
  • It is forbidden to bring animals;
  • It is forbidden to have behaviors or acts that are disturbing or uncomfortable for other customers.

All customers are required to check the terms of their reservation. These are final.
